BEGINNER'S LUCK
Few things marry the need for form and function like furniture. So, of course, we were interested in trying our hand at it.>>
That we would win the Editor's Award at the ICFF with our first collection, however, was beyond our wildest expectations. Our C Collection comprises lounge, reception and private sitting area furnishing collaboratively designed (That's what the "C" in the title stands for) and built around clean lines and practical features. The pieces, intended for the modern workplace, offer supreme comfort, pull up work surfaces and complementary lighting.<<

WHO DOES NUMBER 2 WORK WITH?
Over the past five years fuseproject has won more IDSA awards than any firm except IDEO. We could lament that fact, but on second thought we're pretty pleased about our perpetual challenger status. This year's awards were for: OLPC XO laptop, OLPC Strategy, OLPC Yoyo, NYC Condom and Farallon.

FOR Y'ALL
Y Water, the new USDA organically certified beverage for kids, launches at Whole Foods.>>
Y Water provides a low-calorie, nutrient-rich alternative to high sugar sodas and juices. Oh and it tastes good too! fuseproject designed the one-of-a-kind tetra pod shape that delivers an instantly iconic form-factor while simultaneously giving the bottles a secondary use - they can be connected to one another with Y knots becoming lego-like toys that can be used long after the beverage is gone.<<
KOREANS IN SPACE
Our SHOOTING STAR phone for SKY of Korea, the choice of Astro Girls everywhere.
WHEN IS A WIN A WIN/WIN?
fuseproject and OLPC were given the INDEX award for "community design" for the XO laptop.>>
The INDEX award, the largest design cash prize in the world - €100K - focuses on "Design to Improve Life" and is awarded in five categories: Body, Home, Work, Play and Community. Of course, OLPC is simply using the award money to purchase more laptops to benefit more kids. It doesn't get any more win/win than that!<<
