    Yves is a design entrepreneur who believes that product, digital and brand design are cornerstones of any business. He is the founder of fuseproject, the San Francisco-based design and branding firm he established in 1999. He is also the Co-founder of start-up August, a next generation home entry system.

    His other collaborations with renowned partners such as Herman Miller, GE, Puma, PayPal, SodaStream, Samsung, Issey Miyake, Prada and many others have received international acclaim. Béhar’s works are included in the permanent collections of museums worldwide, and he is a frequent speaker on design, sustainability and business topics.

    Qin Li
    Vice President of Design

    Qin leads the industrial design team at fuseproject. With nearly 20 years of experience and deep knowledge in the industry, she has successfully brought a significant number of concepts to the market with clients at a global scale, ranging from startups to successfully established corporations. Over the past 15 years at fuseproject, Qin has worked on a variety of design categories including robotics, consumer electronics, furniture, interior spaces, health care, packaging and soft goods, among others.

    Qin is responsible for guiding the entire design process from leading concept directions through ideation to production, working across disciplines to create integrated design experiences for product, brand and digital platforms. Her work has been honored with numerous awards, including the recent IDEA Gold and Special Award for the Snoo baby basinet for Happiest Baby.

    She is currently the Chair of the board of Industrial Designers Society of America. She has served as a juror in many design competitions, including Clio, IDEA, One Show and Spark Awards. With this diverse knowledge and wealth of experience, she has also taught at the Academy of Art University and California College of Art.

    Mary Kate leads the Finance & Operations functions at fuseproject, overseeing the company’s financial strategy, health and operational efficiency. She has a passion for collaborating with cross-discipline teams to optimize processes and drive business goals. Prior to Fuseproject, Mary Kate was the Senior Global Accounting Manager at OpenTable, a leading provider of online restaurant reservations. At OpenTable, she was instrumental in building out international finance, driving global reporting, and integrating various acquisitions, including the integration of OpenTable’s purchase by The Priceline Group. Mary Kate has also served as Assistant Controller at Kleiner Perkins Caufield and Byers, and began her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Mary Kate holds a Bachelors in Accounting and Masters of Accounting Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and is a Certified Public Accountant.

    Ben is the VP of Growth and Managing Director of fuseproject, bringing over 20 years of experience building products, teams, content, brands, and companies. He has a long track record of turning big ideas into successful and profitable businesses that connect with new markets and consumers and has held a variety of C-Level and executive roles in creative leadership. He has expertise in product development, content development, editorial, marketing and brand strategy and draws on his diverse experience to help fuseproject and it’s partners unlock greater value in their brands, products, and teams to deliver category leading experiences. Prior to joining fuseproject Ben served as Chief Experience Officer at fintech startup Qapital. He was a Founder of 21212, a venture capital fund and accelerator in Brazil, where he invested and advised 40+ early stage companies. He was Chief Creative Officer at Sling Media, VP of Digital at MTV, and founding Chief Creative Officer and Editor-in-Chief at Complex– which stands today as the #4 online media brand amongst millennials. He hails from Princeton, NJ and has a BA from Brown University.

    As leader of the strategy practice for fuseproject, Logan guides and oversees all strategic output of the studio. He is at his best helping client partners untangle complex challenges and construct compelling, actionable strategies for design-led growth and marketplace leadership. During his seven year tenure at fuseproject, he has led strategic efforts for a broad range of partners, including Puma, Herman Miller, GE, Jawbone, Nivea, Google, Canal +, Johnson & Johnson, and Louis Vuitton.

    Prior to joining fuseproject, Logan led strategic efforts at IDEO and the Arnell Group Innovation Lab, following stints as an architect and rock drummer. He holds a Masters degree in Architecture from Rice University and BA in history from Vassar College.

    Thomas is the leader of fuseproject’s experience design practice. For nearly two decades, he has led the design of integrated services and platforms for many of the world’s best known brands – covering a range of domains, from advertising and marketing to physical experiences. Thomas’s career has taken him across many international markets, living and working in LA, Seattle, London, New York and San Francisco. His recent involvement in some of the world’s most innovative automotive brands has seen him deliver award winning work spanning connected car platforms, production in-car HMI interfaces, autonomous vehicle experiences, motor show events, film, photo shoots, integrated campaigns, and numerous car launches. Thomas is highly regarded as a design leader, bringing foresight and rigor to the consideration of design systems and patterns, progressive human-centric experiences, brand meaning and purpose, and quick, agile prototyping to ensure high quality execution and product success.

    Over the past five years at fuseproject Anthony has partnered with clients big and small, helping them discover beautiful and practical design solutions. He has lead projects for a range of clients including Coca-Cola, HP, Intel, PayPal, Samsung, Siemens, Viant, and Intuition Robotics.

    Prior to fuseproject, Anthony was a Design Director at FutureBrand in New York where his clients included AB InBev, American Airlines, Dow, Hilton, Underwriters Laboratories and Yellow Tail Wine.

    He holds a BA in Graphic Design from The School of Art, Design and Art History at San Diego State University. He also holds an MA in History from The City College of New York where he focused his studies on visual culture in the Twentieth century.

    Cody is principally focused on cultivating, developing and securing strategic engagements for the studio. He is keenly interested in discovering and partnering with entrepreneurs, leaders and enterprises that have an ambition to design innovative and game changing products and experiences for the world. Prior to fuseproject, Cody worked at the strategy consultancy SYPartners, first as a strategist working on and leading projects, then in a Business Development capacity. His clients included Yahoo!, Apple, CBS, Target and William Morris Endeavor (WME). Prior to SYP, Cody had a broad career spanning engineering, enterprise software, hospitality and entertainment. He has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Ohio University and an MBA in Strategy and Organizational Behavior from UC Davis.

    Hardy leads the fuseproject client services team. He met Yves windsurfing back in 2005 and has been with fuseproject since 2007. Though he wears many hats and fulfills many functions at fuse, his technical role as director of clients services is to serve as translator between clients and fuse’s creative team. He sits at the intersection of client vision, design intent and business goals. Among the many clients Hardy has worked with are Jawbone, Canal+, Fan TV, and Activision. He began his career working in boutique ad agencies as a producer, art director, and copywriter, eventually transitioning to the role of Creative Director. He holds a bachelor’s degree in integrated marketing communications from the University of Colorado.

    For twenty years, Galen Myers has worked in professional services at the intersection of Business Strategy, Design, and Technology, serving businesses ranging from early stage start-ups to established corporations. Galen has led programs that deliver world-class experiences across multiple touch-points, with a wide focus ranging from business and brand strategy for emerging platforms to interface design and development for mobile, tablet, television, web-based products and services, and wearables.

    Throughout his career, Galen has defined and implemented integrated product design and development processes to ensure the creation of products that deliver clear user value and meet business objectives, achieved through rigorous research, the marriage of business strategy with clear user needs, high quality design, and best of breed engineering.

    At fuseproject, Galen is the Director of Product and Portfolio Planning, specializing in creating holistic experiences across hardware, software, services and environments, delivering across customer ecosystems, and defining and integrating business, brand and product strategies with a multidisciplinary design-led approach. Prior to fuseproject, Galen was the Principal of Strategy + Innovation at Presence Product Group, leading business design, product strategy, design and development practices. Galen also led product experiences at Jawbone where he brought seven products from ideation to launch within two years.

    Mark leads the environments team at fuseproject. For over twenty years he has worked with his clients to create beauty and enduring value from complex conditions, informed by his experience working and thinking across a variety of design disciplines, scales and geographies. His strength lies in identifying and addressing the needs of his clients and bringing together teams to design and evolve engaging human experiences.

    Mark’s work has spanned the spectrum of the built environment for private and corporate clients like Apple, Virgin, Tesla, Nike, Shimano and Dolby. He offers a holistic understanding of the factors that drive the success of projects at all scales. Through design, he investigates changes in attitudes and lifestyles, changes within the global community, as well as the social and architectural conditions that influence human interaction and aspirations.     Director of People Operations

    Kristen Hattan joined fuseproject early 2018 as Director of People Operations. In this role, Kristen responds to the growth of the company by building out infrastructure that will scale fuseproject to the next level. From recruiting talent, to fostering engagement, to recognizing creative ways to streamline processes, Kristen’s unique perspective empowers team members to challenge themselves, take an active role in their position, and understand the inner workings of the firm’s operations; each of which further establish the firm’s culture. Kristen brings more than 15 years of professional experience as a true generalist to foster a new model of the traditional role. Previously, she served as Director of Human Resources for Visa, and Director of Human Resources at PlaySpan. Kristen received her Masters in Applied Behavior Analysis at Boston University, and an MBA in Finance at Fordham University.
