Briggo and fuseproject partnered on the idea of a new experience of coffee - one that is highly convenient by allowing users to order remotely and pick-up quickly, but also one that is highly customized to a person's taste preferences. The Coffee Haus combines smartphone control and precision robotic technology with the best in artisan coffee to revolutionize the coffee experience.

To create a compelling brand platform, we talked to coffee professionals and coffee lovers alike to find out what really matters to them. We looked at what people liked and disliked about the traditional cafe experience. And we codified a brand positioning, personality and expression to reinforce the authenticity, precision and respect for craft inherent in the founding vision.

The result is a seamless user experience across all touch points (identity, product design, app design, touchscreen interface)—made possible by clear experience principles and brand definition.

Briggo Coffee Haus is a beautiful robot that makes a great cup of coffee, however its branding is warm, human and classic. The logo feels architectural and strong, paying homage to Briggo’s unique history, and the use of clean and friendly typography invites the curious to take a better look. As a seamless part of a larger experience, the logo and branding draws from and adds to the physical presence of Briggo. Whether interacting with the app, website or Haus, you feel a sense of place that is as familiar as your favorite coffee shop.

The digital touch points: web, app, and kiosk are optimized for individual platforms, and the experience is designed so you can quickly build your beverage – a literal experience of adding ingredients that allows users to choose exactly how they want their coffee. The system is also scalable and flexible so it works on many types of screens while remaining branded and recognizable. Compared to a traditional ordering experience, the Briggo app is easy and fast, with delivery of a cup as one arrives at the “haus” location. You can even schedule the exact time your coffee will be ready. Translation: no more lines!

Technology plays an important role in Briggo’s ability to deliver a customer’s favorite coffee drink in a repeatable, high quality, no compromise experience. Once you have your coffee, you can provide feedback via the app or the web and keep adjusting your coffee until you get the perfect cup.
